Lawyer denies Paul O'Sullivan was fleeing SA

JOHANNESBURG - Paul O’Sullivan&39;s bail hearing is expected to take place on Monday.

O’Sullivan was arrested by the Hawks on Friday night for allegedly breaching immigration laws, after he was found in possession of three different passports.

He is to remain in custody at the Pretoria police station until his court appearance.

O’Sullivan’s legal representatives say he wasn&39;t trying to flee the country but accompanying his two daughters to London where they attend school.

They also say he is being held on trumped-up charges.

O’Sullivan has been involved in a number of high profile cases, and is credited in helping to bring former police commissioner Jackie Selebi to book.
