JOHANNESBURG - ANC Women's League President (ANCWL), Bathabile Dlamini, said if the Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mduduzi Manana is fired, the same should apply to other senior government ministers, who also abused women.
Dlamini has come under fire for not supporting calls that Manana be shown the door after he admitted to assaulting a woman at a Johannesburg nightclub.
The ANCWL accused the Sunday Times of misleading the public on its stance on Manana, in an article the paper published on Sunday.

In an interview with the newspaper, Dlamini said the women's league would not call for Manana's removal from government as the attack was being used as a political tool.
Dlamini has faced widespread criticism for not taking the side of the woman the deputy minister had attacked.
She refused to say which other government officials she referred to, who have abused women.
