JOHANNESBURG - The ANC launches its local government election manifesto in Gauteng on Saturday.

The pressure is on to fill the FNB stadium, as promised by the provincial leadership.

The ANC in Gauteng has given assurances that President Jacob Zuma won’t be heckled at the party’s event.

The Gauteng province took more than a month to accept Zuma&39;s Nkandla apology and it continued to urge the president to reflect on the matter.

Despite this, Gauteng leaders say Zuma will be received with open arms at the FNB stadium.

"He&39;s going to join us here, he will address the rally together with the chairperson Paul Mashatile,” said Gauteng ANC Deputy Chairman David Makhura.

The way we work, every activity organised by the ANC, you will see the President will be received well. He&39;s the leader of our organisation, there&39;s no doubt about that."
