A motion of no-confidence in Johannesburg Mayor Herman Mashaba and Speaker Vasco da Gama will be debated at a council meeting.
JOHANNESBURG – Johannesburg Mayor, Herman Mashaba, has declared a local state of disaster in the city.
His decision comes after a massive storm ripped through the city last week.
Heavy rain and hail smashed parts of the city and outlying areas last week, leaving two people dead.
