PRETORIA - Robert McBride and his co-accused received bail R1500 at the Pretoria Magistrate&39;s Court on Wednesday.
Suspended Independent Police Investigative Directorate boss Robert McBride, was formally charged with fraud and defeating the ends of justice on Tuesday by the National Prosecuting Authority.
McBride addressed the media following Wednesday morning&39;s court appearance.
These charges are linked to a six-year-old case, where McBride and two lead investigators, Matthews Sesoko and Innocent Khuba, allegedly tampered with an Ipid report into the illegal rendition of accused Zimbabwean criminals.
The case continues on 15 April.
