JOHANNESBURG - Lolly Jackson’s alleged killer George Luca has failed in his final bid to avoid extradition.

Luca will be brought back from Cyprus to South Africa to stand trial. The justice department has confirmed that Interpol will be transporting him back to South Africa.

Luca stands accused of gunning the strip club boss down in his rented home in May 2010, and fled the country shortly afterwards.

He’s denied killing Jackson – but says he will never reveal who did because doing so could get him killed.

Jackson, the owner of the Teazers franchise of strip clubs, was shot dead at a house near the OR Tambo International Airport.

Luca, also known as Louca Smith, allegedly phoned Gauteng crime intelligence boss Joe Mabasa and confessed to killing Jackson shortly after the murder.

Luca previously told the Sunday Times that he did not believe he would be granted a fair trial.
