There could be a shortage of clean water if South Africans do not work to conserve it.

JOHANNESBURG -  Many of Johannesburg’s northern suburbs residents can expect a massive 30-hour water disruption next week.

Joburg Water, the City’s water and sanitation service provider has issued a warning about a planned water disruption that will affect suburbs supplied by the Honeydew Tower and Reservoir.

The water cut is expected to last from 9am on 12 April until 3pm on 13 April. Joburg Water said , “this is for Randwater to do a tie-in at the reservoir inlet.”

To see which suburbs will be affected and where temporary water tankers will be placed during this time, see eNCA’s map below.
