JOHANNESBURG - Former ANC MP Vytjie Mentor continued her assault on the ruling party on Thursday morning, detailing how President Jacob Zuma had been in her company on several occasions.
Earlier this week, Mentor revealed that the controversial Gupta family offered her a cabinet position on behalf of government.
This claim was vehmently denied by The Presidency, which said that President Jacob Zuma had no recollection of Mentor.
On Wednesday, Mentor said Zuma sat next to her when she chaired the ANC National Parliamentary Caucus, when he was the deputy president.
"He sat next to me and spoke through me and and with me in Caucus each Thursday when Parliament was in session. I sat with him in the ANC&39;s Political Committee each month too. He is the one whi (sic) was sent by the TOP 6 then to tell me that the ANCChas deploted (sic) me to be the Chair of Caucus then .
