Nkoana-Mashabane honoured to be nominated

File: The Minister for Women and Youth Maite Nkoana-Mashabane implored families to be more involved

JOHANNESBURG - International Relations and Cooperation Minister, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane said she’s honoured to be nominated for the ANC top six.

Nkoana-Mashabane is Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma&39;s choice for treasurer general.

"It’s an honour and privilege to be a member of the ANC in good standing and belong to a branch. The people of Limpopo say since the late president Makgato, it’s the first time they saw somebody from where I come from, signing a document similar to the one I signed yesterday."

"ANC is a unity organisation. We’re an organisation that’s woven by people from all over and I happen to be one of them.

"I’m also honoured that ANC thinks I have done something to be remembered," she added.
