No holds barred in NYDA battle

JOHANNESBURG - Another legal battle is brewing between Steven Ngubeni and the National Youth Development Agency board.

Ngubeni has laid charges against the NYDA for obstructing justice. This after they attempted to stop him from going back to work on Monday.

Officers say they were instructed by the board to arrest him for trespassing. He was later released without being charged.

Ngubeni was fired as CEO of the youth agency in July over claims of maladministration, but the Labour Court ruled his dismissal was unlawful and that he should be reinstated, immediately.

He said he had briefed his attorneys on the matter.
