JOHANNESBURG - It is one year today since Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa was gunned down.

The 27-year-old was shot and killed at the Vosloorus home of his girlfriend Kelly Khumalo.

12 months on, the apparent botched robbery remains unsolved, with no arrests.

Meyiwa’s loved ones say that tragic day is still as vivid as ever.

The murder has also affected them financially, as the soccer star used to support his family.

Meyiwa&39;s father says they&39;re planning a traditional ritual to mark the first anniversary of his death.
