Johannesburg, July 28 - Judge Glen Goosen dismissed Panayiotou's latest bid for bail, finding that theres a strong case against the 28-year-old.

PORT ELIZABETH - The mistress of murder-accused Christopher Panayiotou, has admitted to receiving expensive gifts from him.

Channel Coutts was testifying in the Port Elizabeth High Court where Panayiotou is accused of paying a hitman R80,000 to murder his wife, Jayde Panayiotou, over two years ago.

Coutts worked for the family as a store manager for four years.

She's denied any knowledge of large amounts of money being taken.

She's also denied being pregnant at the time of the murder, or using drugs.
