DURBAN - Pastor Sthembiso Zondo was given a king&39;s welcome by his congregation on Sunday after his naked video went viral online last week, The Star reported on Monday.
Pictures taken on Sunday show that the congregants that welcomed him were mainly women.
They jostled to take pictures of him as he entered his church venue which is situated close to Moses Mabhida Stadium.
A video of Zondo, walking around naked in a living room and talking on his phone, as he was filmed by a mystery woman caused a frenzy when it hit the net on 18 January.
Many commentators on social media praised the pastor for being well-endowed.
The pastor, who presents a motivational show on SABC&39;s Ukhozi FM, is reported to have apologised to his congregation saying, "I want to apologise to Ukhozi FM, a number of pastors and people who love me."
Zondo told The Sowetan that he plans to take legal action against the woman who released the video, which the pastor said he has known about since 2014.
He said the woman "represents the devil" and had, on many occasions, threatened to release the video.
"The pain I endured when the video emanated is nothing compared to the pain I endured during the time I was threatened with its release last year, hence I decided to let it be once and for all."
There were reports that the pastor had been suspended from his position at Ukhozi FM, but the station&39;s management was not available to confirm this.
Zondo was also not available for comment.
Pastor Zondo misses the whole point. He is single, fornicating and a spiritual leader. Gets caught and blames the woman.— TheBishop (@NdumisoAMbatha) January 26, 2015
