JOHANNESBURG _ Transport Minister Dipuo Peters has disbanded the board of the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa).
The department's acting director-general, Mathabatha Mokonyama, says the minister will soon announce the interim measures to be implemented.

Prasa has been dogged by controversy, the latest being the refusal of acting CEO Collin Letsaolo to stand down after it was reported he gave himself a 350 percent increase in salary.
