JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Health Department on Monday confirmed yet another death from listeriosis.

The department says a pregnant woman died from the disease at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital in Pretoria on Saturday.

This brings the national death toll to 37.

There&39;s currently over 550 reported cases of listeriosis since its outbreak was announced last week.

Health officials say cases have been reported in Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal and the Western Cape.
