Prosecution upbeat as Pistorius trial enters second week

PRETORIA - The National Prosecuting Authority says the Oscar Pistorius murder trial has been a huge learning curve.

It&39;s the first murder trial in South African to be televised alive and has put the international spot light on the country&39;s justice system.

But the state says the first week has gone off successfully.

Nine witnesses have testified so far in a trial in which Oscar Pistorius is facing the biggest challenge of his life.

Details of Reeva Steenkamp&39;s last minutes have been emerging in court, giving a clearer picture of how a fairytale love story ended in tragedy and tears on Valentine’s Day last year.
