EASTERN CAPE - Government has handed over the remains of five Umkhonto we Sizwe soldiers to their families.

Apartheid forces killed and buried the soldiers on a remote farm in 1988.

Justice Minister Jeff Radebe gave the keynote address at the handing-over ceremony in East London.

The families of Mlungiseli Velaphi, Sizakele Buzo, Fuzile Zigoxo, Sipho Kolisi, and Vuyani Goniwe gathered to pay tribute to them.
