Family members of three men who are trapped in the Lily Mine in Mpumalanga are still waiting anxiously as rescue operations continue.
JOHANNESBURG - Families are still waiting anxiously as rescue operations continue for a third day at the Lily Mine in Barberton, Mpumalanga.
They spent a second night camped outside the mine gates.
Rescue workers are battling to bring to the three trapped workers - two females and one male - to the surface.
They were in a container that also collapsed when a part of the mine caved in on Friday.
Eighty seven miners were trapped underground when the mine shaft collapsed.
They were all brought to the surface and escaped with minor injuries.
