JOHANNESBURG – Vuzu Rich Kids reality contestant, Nape Phasa’s lawyers will sue @PigSpotter and others for defamation of character.

Phasha’s attorney, Michael Billy Motsoeneng told eNCA.com of their intention to sue @PigSpotter, real name Cliff Ricardo Santos Pinto and Jacobus Delport for R500, 000 respectively.

They alleged on their Twitter and Facebook accounts that the 21-year-old law student was the driver of a black Mercedes  Benz that was involved in a fatal crash on 13 August 2015 in Garsfontein, Pretoria.

A 31-year-old biker was killed in the collision.

“My client was in Johannesburg, those allegations about him being involved in that accident are false because my client was painted as a killer. We will be taking action,” Motsoeneng said.

“The Plaintiff was not involved at all in the motor collision in this respect, the plaintiff was not a passenger or diver of the motor vehicle that collided with the motorcycle…” read the summons.

“As a result of the defamation the plaintiff received various threats of assault and threats to his life…”the summons said.

The two accused have been instructed to make “a public apology and complete retractions of the defamatory statements are to be published in major newspapers.”

eNCA.com is in possession of copies of the summonses directed at @PigSpotter and Delport.
