JOHANNESBURG - More than 500 pupils gathered in Johannesburg to hold a model UN meeting.
As the 70th United Nations General Assembly gets under way in New York, the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) encouraged the youth to put their minds to global problems.
South African students are using their own simulated UN session to make sure their voices are heard.

Policy documents made here will be given to government in the hope of influencing South Africa&39;s stance on global events.
