File: Solidarity has given the SABC until noon Thursday to reinstate three suspended senior journalists.
UPDATE: Vuyo Mvoko has since stated on Wednesday to eNCA that his contract has not been terminated but is not currently earning a salary until the matter is resolved.
JOHANNESBURG - The SABC has now fired the last four of the eight journalists who are at loggerheads with the public broadcaster.
Vuyo Mvoko, Thandeka Gqubule, Busisiwe Ntuli and Lukhanyo Calata were dismissed on Tuesday morning.
The join Krivani Pillay, Jacques Steenkamp, Foeta Krige and Suna Venter, who were handed dismissal letters yesterday.
Five of the eight journalists have confirmed they&39;ll be challenging the decision in the Labour Court.
They want the dismissals to be set aside pending their Constitutional Court challenge.
The eight are accused of speaking out against censorship.
