SAHRC takes racist rant woman to Equality Court

JOHANNESBSURG – The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has taken Vicky Momberg, accused of a racist rant to court.

SAHRC spokesperson, Gail Smith confirmed that the organisation has taken Momberg to the Equality court.

“I can confirm that the case is before the court, But cannot divulge further information as the case is sud-judice,” Smith said.

SAHRC opened a preliminary probe into Momberg&39;s racist rant.

Estate agent Momberg was caught on camera in Johannesburg after she had apparently been the victim of a smash-and-grab.

Estate agent Momberg shouted racial slurs and used the k-word several times while addressing the police.

The woman also refused to be assisted by a black person, and threatened to run over any black person she came across. The motorist said she wished she had a gun to shoot all black people.

Footage captured four-months ago shows Momberg in the immediate aftermath of a smash-and grab in Northriding, Johannesburg.

Police have also laid a charge of crimen injuria against her.
