JOHANNESBURG - Six people were injured Monday morning when their minibus taxi overturned in Diepkloof, ER24 reports.

"Six people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious after a single taxi rollover in Immink drive in Diepkloof this morning," said ER24 Spokesperson, Ineke van Huyssteen.

"When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 05H10, most of the patients were sitting on the ground ... It is believed that the driver of the taxi was ejected and had sustained serious injuries."

The injured were treated before they were taken to a hospital.


Local authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
