CAPE TOWN - Opposition parties will meet National Assembly Speaker Baleka Mbete to discuss the State of the Nation Address.
They want a motion of no-confidence against President Jacob Zuma before Thursday's speech.
Zuma is under pressure from within the ANC and the opposition to resign.
Presiding officers have said the address will continue as planned.
The EFF is considering legal options to stop Zuma from delivering the address.
Mbete and the chief whips will meet behind closed doors on Tuesday afternoon.
The Speaker scheduled Zuma's no-confidence motion for 22 February.
