DURBAN - Durban’s vicious storm has robbed an Umlazi mother of her only child.

22-month-old Okuhle - one of six young children at a crche - was swept away amid heavy rains on Tuesday.

Resident Siphesihle Mthembu sprang into action with two others and managed to save five of them.

A painstaking search was conducted with police dogs, but there’s no sign of baby Okuhle just yet.
