CAPE TOWN – A trial date has been set in the case against former Western Cape police commissioner, Arno Lamoer and his co-accused.
Lamoer, three police brigadiers and a businessman have been charged with corruption, racketeering and money laundering involving R1,6-million.
They allegedly accepted cash and expensive gifts in exchange for special treatment.
The trial will begin on April 18.
All of the accused are out on bail.
