Two killed in Durban shootout

DURBAN - Two suspects have been killed and one arrested during shootout with Durban police on the N2 near Queen Nandi off-ramp.

The shootout occurred while police were chasing six heavily armed suspects in a white Mercedes Benz.

It's believed they're part of cash-in-transit syndicate.

The suspects attempted to ram the police car off the road, resulting in both vehicles colliding with another car.

The driver of the other vehicle, a woman in her 60s, was injured and taken to hospital.

Police are still looking for the three other suspects.
