Residents say they're angry over President Jacob Zuma's unfulfilled promise to incorporate the area into the Vhembe District Municipality.

"There was  a development overnight which gives us confidence that they will be a  resumption of business in that area and schooling in particular . There is a meeting which has started which basically is discussing the issue of the learners and what is it that we are going to do . So we have not planned beyond this week because we believe the situation there will return to normal this week if everything goes according to plan and we are confident that  it will.
