WATCH: Business leaders speak on banks, Oakbay Investments saga

Business leaders from different sectors answered questions on prominent banks' roles in the Oakbay Investments matter.

JOHANNESBURG - The University of Pretoria’s Gordon Institute of Business Science (Gibs) launched an ethics and governance think tank in Johannesburg on Tuesday evening.

Former Nedbank Chairperson Reuel Khoza, CEO of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Nicky King, Dr James Motlatsi who is the Chairman of Platfields Limited and CEO of Imperial Holdings Limited Mark Lamberti formed part of the panel, chaired by is the dean of the Gordon Institute of Business Science Prof. Nicola Kleyn.

Among the issues tackled was whether major South African banks practised correct business ethics by terminating their serivices to Gupta-owned company Oakbay Investments.
