WATCH: Whales rescued on Cape West Coast

The NSRI said the whale disentanglements off Dassen Island are of the most challenging SAWDN has experienced to date.

CAPE TOWN - Members of the South African Whale Disentanglement Network have freed two whales on the Cape West Coast.

The mammals had been caught up in fishing nets off Dassen Island.

They included a young 7-metre humpback, and an 11-metre humpback adult.
