JOHANNESBURG - ANC spokesperson Zizi Kodwa has defended his decision to endorse Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa publicly.

Earlier Kodwa said in a tweet that he had cast his vote for Ramaphosa.

"This is a conference of the ANC. In the past I would not have done that in public. This conference must have a leadership that restores confidence, people must have hope," says Kodwa.
