The Guptas will fall: Shivambu


Soweto, Gauteng, 30 April 2016 - Deputy President of the EFF Floyd Shivambu at the EFF manifesto launch.

JOHANNESBURG - The Economic Freedom fighters have assured South Africans the controversial Gupta family will face the full might of the law.

Deputy President Floyd Shivambu, was speaking after laying criminal charges against the family at the Rosebank Police Station on Sunday.

The party has included a number of Gupta associates on the charge sheet.

Shivambu also issued a stern warning to the Guptas.

“We can assure South Africa that the Guptas are going to fall."

"The Guptas will be brought down to their knees and they will be brought down with their handler Jacob Zuma."

"All these problems that we are confronted with here in South Africa is because of the relationship between Jacob Zuma and the Gupta Family. Of course they have got their son their Duduzane. Duduzane is nothing more than a proxy for Jacob Zuma,” said Shivambu.

Outgoing public protector Thuli Madonsela said on Friday a report into allegations of political interference by the wealthy friends of President Jacob Zuma has been submitted to Parliament for safekeeping pending a court case that delayed its release.
