CAPE TOWN - President Jacob Zuma has appointed Supreme Court of Appeal Judge Nonkosi Zoliswa Mhlantla to the Constitutional Court, the presidency announced on Monday.

Mhlantla will take up the position on 1 December. She will be filling the vacancy left by Judge Thembile Skweyiya, who was appointed as Inspecting Judge of Prisons in April and died in September.

“President Zuma wishes Justice Mhlantla all the best in her new responsibilities,” the presidency said.
