Zuma appoints judges to Constitutional Court

South Africas Constitutional Court has ruled that President Jacob Zuma failed in his duty to uphold, defend and respect the Constitution.

JOHANNESBURG – President Jacob Zuma has appointed two Judges to act as Judges of the Constitutional Court.

Justice Boissie Henry Mbha of the Supreme Court of Appeal in Bloemfontein has been appointed to act as a Judge of the Constitutional Court for the period 1 August 2016 to 15 December 2016, in the place of Madam Justice Baaitse Elizabeth Nkabinde who will be acting as Deputy Chief Justice during that period.

Justice Cagney John Musiof the Free State Division of the High Court in Bloemfontein has been appointed to act as a Judge of the Constitutional Court for the period 1 August 2016 to 15 December 2016, following the retirement of Justice Johann van der Westhuizen.
