JOHANNESBURG - The South African Football Association (SAFA) has followed in the footsteps of its European counterparts.
This, by allowing fans into stadiums, starting with the Bafana Bafana World Cup qualifier against Ethiopia.
The match will be used as a litmus test for the readiness of officials to handle big crowds under COVID-19 protocols.
SAFA NEC member, Poobie Govindasamy, says it is important to allow those who make a living from live sport to start doing so.
