JOHANNESBURG - Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis has announced her squad to feature in the 2019 Fifa women’s World Cup in France next month.
The prestigious tournament will take place from 7 June to 7 July.
Port-Elizabeth based player Sibulelo Holweni is the surprise package in the squad while veteran player Mpumi Nyandeni was left out from the squad.
Nyandeni played every big tournament – the Uefa Women’s Champions League, the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, and African Women's Cup of Nation.
