PORT ELIZABETH - Baroka FC have been crowned Telkom Knockout champions after beating favourites Orlando Pirates 3-2 on penalties at the Nelson Mandela bay Stadium.

Nothing separated Bagkakga and the Buccaneers in regular and extra time, forcing spot kicks in Port Elizabeth after the match ended 2-2.

Things went from bad to worse for the Soweto Giants, who played most of the game with only 10-men. 

They missed three of their five penalties.

To give the former  First National Division champions their first top-flight trophy since promotion in 2016.
