JOHANNESBURG - South Africa's Springboks won a third Rugby World Cup on Saturday in Japan giving SA citizens around the world much-needed reason to celebrate.
Some fans took to Twitter after the win to express their jubilation and triumph, joining former SA sports stars AB de Villiers and Ryk Neethling in congratulating the victorious Springboks.
President Cyril Ramaphosa also congratulated the team in Japan.
South Africa defeated England 32 -12.
Springbok captain Siya Kolisi thanked the South African fans after the game saying, "this is what we can do as a team when we decide on one goal and one dream. Thank you so much for everything."

The Boks first won the Webb Ellis Cup in 1995 and again in 2007.
