Julen Lopetegui has been announced by Real Madrid as Zinedine Zidane's replacement as Los Blancos coach.

JOHANNESBURG – Spain&39;s national coach Julen Lopetegui will replace Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid coach after the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

The Spanish giants broke the news in a Tweet on Tuesday.

"Julen Lopetegui will be the Real Madrid coach after the celebration of the 2018 World Cup," the Tweet said.

He is said to have signed a three-year contract with the Los Blancos.

"Julen Lopetegui will join the club after Spain’s participation in the World Cup, after two years leading the national team," the club&39;s official website announced.
