JOHANNESBURG - The climb may have taken more than 67 minutes, but the Trek4Mandela team has summited Mount Kilimanjaro.
The annual expedition, in honour of Nelson Mandela, is led by Sibusiso Vilane, an inspirational person himself.
He was the first black African to conquer the South and North Poles and Mount Everest.
This year's group were in fine form and reached the peak of Mount Kilimanjaro on Monday.
They are the 10th team to summit Africa's highest peak as part of this event.
The climb is also a fundraising event creating awareness for the Caring4Girls programme.
