LONDON - UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has expressed his views over the incident in Sunday's North London derby between Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

A supporter threw a banana skin onto the pitch, after the Gunner's Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored.

Ceferin called it, and other racist incidents, 'a disaster' in the football fraternity.

"We have to do more but we are doing quite a lot as UEFA. We have campaigns against it, we have to educate people, we can of course sanction the clubs and we do that. The English FA or the league also does it but it's not enough, we have to educate young people and we're trying to do our best, but when you see an event like that it's a disaster if you ask me", said Cefferin.
