JOHANNESBURG - The Minister of Sport and Recreation Thulas Nxesi congratulated the Blitzboks on their title winning exploits at the Dubai Sevens on Saturday.

The Blitzboks dominated the tournament during the group stages by beating Uganda, Kenya and Canada. They beat Samoa 26-10 in the quarterfinals, beating Fiji and then England 14-7 in the semis.
They defeated New Zealand in the final, claiming 24-12 victory.
“As they have started their season on a high, we hope that they will do well in their forthcoming matches including this weekend in Cape Town, 9 December 2017 and the country will be fully behind them,” said Nxesi.
