JOHANNESBURG - Female South African footballers are making a mark abroad as more players draw attention from teams in Europe, Asia and the United States.

Much of this movement has been credited to the impression made at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Striker Ode Fulutudilu was part of the squad that played in France. 

The 30-year-old has had success in Europe and now calls Champions League side Glasgow City home.

Noko Matlou (35) recently made her debut for Spanish Premier Division side, Eibar.
