JOHANNESBURG - The South African Football Association says its elective congress elections will go ahead today despite death threats received by two delegates.
CEO Tebogo Motlanthe confirmed the death threats but says the two can't be named at this stage.
Security around the Convention Centre has been stepped up.
The SAFA Chief reiterated that the Congress will go ahead despite several court attempts to stop it.
The association says it will protect the right of its members to freely elect leaders without any third-party interference
