JOHANNESBURG – The South African Sports Confederation and Olympic Committee (SASCOC) confirmed the sacking of Chief Executive Tubby Reddy, along with two other senior employees on Tuesday.
Sascoc vice-president Barry Hendricks confirmed to the media that the two other employees shown the door are Chief Financial Officer Vinesh Maharaj and Jean Kelly, a senior manager in Reddy’s office.
The dismissals come after a lengthy disciplinary process.
Reddy was suspended on full pay in July last year as he faced various charges including sexual harassment.
Reddy’s legal team said he rejected the outcome and would be appealing the decision.
