TOKYO - Tatjana Schoenmaker clocked the second-fastest 200m breaststroke time ever.
She was under world-record pace for much of her heat and only missed it by a fingertip, touching in 2:19.16, a new Olympic mark and just shy of the 2:19.11 set by Denmark's Rikke Moller Pedersen in 2013.
"I don't think I actually have the words to say how happy I am," she said.
"I was just thinking if I only had these longer nails."
