JOHANNESBURG – It&39;s coming home turned to be you&39;re going home for the England football side.

After dominating the first half, it seemed that England was on course to their first World Cup final since 1990.

But, Croatia ended the three lion&39;s dream in extra time when Mario Mandzukic scored in the 109th minute.

This left the English fans distraught but social media seemed to enjoy England tears by taking jabs at their failure to qualify for the final.

Croatia beat England 2-1 to reach their first World Cup final.

They will face France on Sunday.
