Chiefs’ medical team reported that the keeper picked up the injury in Amakhosi’s victory in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 encounter, against Stellenbosch FC in Cape Town, a fortnight ago.

Kaizer Chiefs won the cup match 3-0, with Khuzwayo recording a clean sheet in goal.

Team physiotherapist, Dave Milner, confirmed the news of the player’s impending surgery.
