Cape Town, 29 June 2016 - Cape Town City FC, the new Mother City club has finally been launched. Previously Mpumalanga Black Aces, the new club is using the blue and yellow of the old Cape Town City team from the Seventies.
CAPE TOWN - The mother city has a new football team. Cape Town City FC, previously Mpumalanga Black Aces, has completed its move to Cape Town.
The new club is using the blue and yellow of the old Cape Town City team from the Seventies.
It is hoped that this reconnection with the football soul of Cape Town can reignite the love and support for the beautiful game in the city&39;s diverse communities.
John Comitis, formerly of Ajax Cape Town, who brought the club to the city, said he wants the club to play attractive football in the spirit of Barcelona.
