JOHANNESBURG - Giniel De Villiers is preparing to compete in his 15th Dakar Rally.
The gruelling test of man and machine began on Saturday 6 January and ends two weeks later.
It takes the competitors from Lima in Peru, through La Paz in Bolivia and concludes in Cordobo in Argentina.
De Villiers spoke to eNCA Sports Reporter Shahied Joseph ahead of his quest for a second Dakar victory.
Privateer Hennie Le Roux will also be one of four South Africans competing in this gruelling race.
